Initial ideas for script (Major project #1)
In today's post, I would like to talk about my main ideas that came to mind during my thoughts on the script. I decided to focus on an idea where no one believes in the main character, but he does not give up and still successfully goes to his aim.
There was only one question, in what situation to put the main character. As a result, I decided to take the most similar situation to me at school, only with small changes. According to my sketches of the plot, the main character was engaged in anything other than studying for a fairly long period of time and as a result remains strongly on the curriculum. On the test exam, he gets a terrible score a couple of weeks before the exam. The teacher directly says that even on the lowest score, he will not be able to prepare for such a short period of time. At first, he thinks that he can still find a way to pass the exam by cheating or other illegal means, but soon enough, he realizes that he needs to start preparing and get rid of all his distractions in order to pass the exam. He begins to prepare, sometimes reluctantly, sometimes thinking about going out for fun when his friends call him. However, at one point, he forgets everything around him and is only engaged in preparation, ignoring all external factors.
The script will have less information about the subject and how the main character prepares. More time will be devoted to what a hopeless situation the character is in, what he has to give up for the sake of his goal of successfully passing the exam, and how difficult it is for him to give up what he is used to.
In my next post on major project, I will show my plan for the script, where there will be information about the genre, audience, characters ( the main character is only the main character), as well as the main character's Hobbies. Perhaps I forgot something, but I will add it in the plan.

As you arrive late this term, please make sure you catch up with the homework from the first weeks. You can find a handout in the learning materials which outlines the blog posts you should have completed for week 1. Please make sure you read this and add this to your blog. You should be discussing how sketchbook and journals are used by artists to begin their creative process, to work through and develop ideas and to explore other work that inspires them.
ReplyDeleteGood that you have discussed your initial idea here. Please make sure you really develop this idea further and add research to your blog post. Has something similar been created before? What can you learn from this?
