Major Project: Creating and editing. Part 2
In this blog, I will finish the work I started earlier on creating a motivational video. Last time I worked with the Final Cut Pro program. I added my motivational speech, audio music, subtitles to my project, and searched for footages for visual accompaniment. In this blog, I plan to make credits, which will contain information about all the materials and sources that were involved in the creation of the video, as well as make small final details in the video to give a more pleasant look.
To create it, I decided to use one of the pre-installed versions of the Final Cut Pro software. There are even titles from star wars, but I don't think that's a good idea for the credits of my video.
On the one hand, I can just take one of the most liked titles and just write all the materials I copied. However, I will use different titles.
The first frame after the video ends will be the speaker's name. I decided to make them a little unusual compared to the subsequent titles. To do this, I chose a Title from the category Comic book -> Fade and changed the color so that it doesn't look too bright, since my work doesn't have bright moments.
I chose white as the main color, and the shadow has a red and blue hue.
Now I'll make the transition, for the next titles. I decided to choose from the already pre-installed transitions and decided to put the transition 360 Reveal Wipe. I chose this particular transition, because initially I wanted to try to do it manually, but fortunately I found it among the pre-installed ones.
The next step is to change the second title, where I will add information about which video tutorials on Final Cut Pro were used when creating the video.
Among the tutorials I wrote. One is very large and gives a lot of information about what the Final Cut is, and the other two are auxiliary. I used the title of the video in quotation marks and a link to the YouTube channel. In this case, the video title is written in white, and the link is written in red, so as not to create a confusion effect. With different colors, the viewer will better understand the difference between the text and the link.
Next, I'll show you the sources of my footages and music. To do this, I will create a new title and make another transition to make it look logical and beautiful.
To do this, I chose the "Flip" transition and added them to two titles, at the end of the previous one and the beginning of the new one, and adjusted them by duration.
In total, I used 12 footages and one soundtrack throughout the video. Since this won't fit on one title, I'll use two, 5 seconds each. I will also add the transition " Color Planes"
For titles, I use the Helvetica font. The font size for the title in this frame is 63, the video title size is 32, and the link size is 27.
On the second page, I added information about the music, but before that I found a second soundtrack that will play during the credits, so that the audience will not just watch the credits, but also listen to the song in the background, as happens at the end of every video or movie that you watch.
And on the last title, I will point out the videos that inspired me when creating this project.
My last actions were adding Fade in and Fade out at the beginning and end of the credits. The same thing is done with music, so that the sound and image are smooth without sudden transitions and unexpected endings. To do this, I used the "Fade To Color" transition at the beginning and end, which give me the desired effect, and also used the necessary sliders on the audio track.
Now I save videos using the standard settings, similar to the previous post.
